surely be rejected by Science just as much as the Satanic and pre-Adamic races, yet if having no other way out of their
difficulties the Scientists have to choose between the two, we feel certain that, Scripture notwithstanding, once the mystery

...the celestial men, the Dhyan Chohans. This nature
is made to divide and separate; and while the higher principles (Atma-Buddhi) of the "Creators of Men" are said to
be the Spirits of the seven constellations, their middle and lower principles are connected with the earth and are
shown.

I, 101. The period of these Kumaras is Pre-Adamic. i.e. before the separation of the sexes, and before humanity had
received the creative, or sacred, fire of Prometheus.] remaining Kaumāric (virgin and undefiled) SD3 192.
They refer to the primordial six (seven) "Kings of Edom" who
typify the worlds (or spheres) of our chain during the first Round, as well as the primordial men of this Round. They
are the septenary pre-Adamic (or before the Third, Separated Race) first Root-race... They are the Kings who
are "the Seven Rishis, certain (secondary) divinities, Sakra (Indra), Manu, and the Kings his Sons, who are created
and perish at one period," as said in Vishnu Purana (Book I. chap. iii.).
"the Self-manifested," the Son of the unmanifested FATHER.
The Manus are the creators of the creators of our First Race -- the Spirit of mankind -- which does not prevent the seven
Manus from having been the first "pre-Adamic" men on Earth. SD2 311.
It is "Satanic" from the standpoint of orthodox Romanism,
for it is owing to the prototype of that which became in time the Christian Devil -- to the Radiant Archangels, Dhyans-Chohans,
who refused to create, because they wanted Man to become his own creator and an immortal god -- that men can reach Nirvana
and the haven of heavenly divine Peace. SD2 246.
The pitris (the pre-Adamic spirits) IU1 136.
They are also the sumtotal of the Pitris, 91 or Fathers
of mankind, viewing mankind as the race itself, the fourth kingdom in nature, the Heavenly Men in physical manifestation.
This is a most important point to emphasize. These deva activities in relation to Self-Consciousness (which is the distinctive
characteristic of humanity) can best be studied in the large, or through [613] the consideration of groups, of races, and
of the life of the scheme, the manifestation of one of the Heavenly Men. When the student brings his study of deva work down
to the terms of his own individual life he is apt to become confused through too close a juxtaposition.
The greater Builders are the solar Pitris, whilst the lesser Builders are the lunar ancestors. I would here explain the occult meaning of the
word "ancestor," as used in esotericism. It means literally initiatory life impulse. It is that subjective activity which
produces objectivity, and concerns those emanatory impulses which come from any positive center of force, and which sweep
the negative aspect into the line of that force, and thus produce a form of some kind. The word "ancestor" is used in connection
with both aspects.
The solar Logos is the initiatory impulse or Father of the
Son in His physical incarnation, a solar system. He is the sumtotal of the Pitris, in the process of providing form. The union
of Father (positive force) and Mother (negative force) produces that central blaze which we call the form, the body of manifestation
of the Son. A Heavenly Man holds an analogous position in relation to a planetary scheme. He is the central germ of positive
life or force, which, in due course of time, demonstrates as a planetary scheme, or an incarnation of the planetary Logos.
A man similarly is the positive life or energy which, through action on negative force, creates bodies of manifestation through
which he can shine or radiate. 92, 93, 94 TCF 613.
JC: Lord Lucifer, is responsible for ensuring that humanity
over which Lucifer rules, becomes the planetary light bearer.
The view regarding Lucifer as the prince of darkness is one
distorted by religious theology and still to this day colours the teachings of the ageless wisdom. It is one way to view the
situation but only if the Secret Doctrine and ageless wisdom is disregarded . However, we have for our studies a great wealth
of wisdom and therefore we have the choice to try to recondition our thinking, which we are generally aiming to do as a way
of progressing and expanding our consciousness.
Lucifer came to oversee the human evolution on a dark non sacred
planet as compared to a sacred one, he being a chief kumara and head of the solar angels. Michael Robbins makes the excellent
point that much unwise teaching has been given counter to the secret doctrine and ageless wisdom This has been given by Lunar
religions and traditions and therefore by those ignorant of the truth. It is the lunar lords which we are trying to prevail
over and this is implicit in our great teachings. Lucifer, son of the Morning and evening star, exalted as he is, "is the
highest title out of heaven" for a Kumara and head of the Solar Angels.
All are Kumaras, Satan's and Archangels and the battle is the
Armageddon between light and matter. Melchizedek is head of the planetary hierarchy and Lucifer rules humanity girdled in
the darkness of matter yet all are bearers of heavenly light and its future planetary demonstration. Melchizedek is not Lucifer
as they are differentiated by DK as being on alternative lines of training. According to HPB Satan and Saturn i.e. karmic
limitation in matter are identical and bring mankind great opportunity for spiritual advancement into LIGHT as the planetary
light bearer.
Dane Rudyar a great astrologer, also referred to Sanat Kumara
as King Satan and in some respect to Saturn, which is karmickly connected with this none sacred [as yet] planet. We definitely
have to come to some philosophical understanding regarding this. A Satan is a heavenly name given to the Kumaras of various
ranks and degrees, of angelic heavenly beauty and wisdom, that has been defiled by the lunar and theologian religions.
Let us examine some of the references in the Secret Doctrine
remembering that Manas derives from Venus and Lucifer the heavenly light bearer. JPC.

JC: HPB suggests that some will reject the philosophical fact
of the pre- Adamic races which were known esoterically as the Satans, just as science today rejects esoteric geology and the
true genesis or origin of man and manas. This is true as foreseen.
"Sanat Kumara is not on the Sirian line but - to speak in symbols,
not too deeply veiled - Lucifer, Son of the Morning, is closely related, and hence the large number of human beings who will
become disciples in the Sirian Lodge. Rays 415.
JC: Here DK differentiates between Sanat Kumara and Lucifer
as being on different paths. Lucifer is head of the human hierarchy and of self consciousness and will tread the Sirian path
just as a large number of humans will. Most will become Masters of compassion and will, as I have stated before, go to Sirius
as for a tremendous manasic stimulation to become Masters of the wisdom. This is headed and overseen by Lord Lucifer, sun
of the morning star.
"At the same time the 'Light-bringer,' the Lucifer, the 'Morning
Star,' the 'Son of the morning' -- the very highest title 'out of heaven, 'for in heaven it cannot be, but out of heaven it
is everything. In an apparently incredible side of his character -- qualities are of no sex -- this archangel, St. Michael,
is the invincible, sexless, celestial 'Energy' -- to dignify him by his grand characteristics -- the invisible 'Virgin Combatant,'
clothed . . . and at the same time armed, in the denying mail of the Gnostic 'refusal to create." SD2 239.
In every grouping, - whether in heaven or on earth - there
is always evidenced a tendency by some units in the group to revolt, to rebel and to show some form of initiative different
to that of the other units in the same grouping. When our solar universe came into being, we are told in the allegorical language
of the ancient scriptures, there "was war in Heaven"; "the sun and his seven brothers" did not function with true unanimity;
hence (and herein lies a hint) our Earth is not one of the seven sacred planets. There is, as we know, the ancient legend
of the lost Pleiad, and there are many such stories. Again, in the council chamber of the Most High, there has not always
been peace and understanding, but at times, war and disruption; this is made abundantly clear by several of the stories in
the Old Testament.
Symbolically speaking, some of the sons of God fell from their
high estate, led, at one time, by "Lucifer, Son of the Morning." This "fall of the angels" was a tremendous event in the history
of our planet, but was nevertheless only a passing and interesting phenomenon in the history of the solar system, and a trifling
incident in the affairs of the seven constellations, of which our solar system is but one. Pause and consider this statement
for a moment, and so readjust your sense of values. The standard of happenings varies in importance according to the angle
of vision, and what (from the angle of our Earth's unfoldment in consciousness) may be a factor of prime importance and of
determining value may (from the angle of the universe) be of trifling moment. The affairs of an individual are, to him, of
momentous import; to humanity, as a whole, they are of small concern. It all depends upon which unit holds the center of the
stage in the drama of life, and around which central factor the happenings, trivial or important, pursue their cyclic way.

JC: "Lucifer, Son of the Morning" and his hosts rebelled or
refused to incarnate in some of the animal forms grotesque as they may have been and therefore karmicly were later required
to incarnate. This was done with the wisest compassion comparatively from our angle even if prompted by being cast out under
karmic law. From the higher perspective, which we are aiming to cultivate, this was a "trifling event" from the celestial
view. Everything is in context and perspective as DK notes.
